I get a job at an enterprise in Kherson. They demanded from my office (Kyiv) to send my work book to their central office. I made a certified copy for them, but they insist that my work book be kept in their office. As far as I know, now there have been changes in the legislation, according to which an entry in the labor is made only at the request of the employee. Please clarify how legitimate the requirements of the employer?

I work on the railway. I am currently abroad with my child (I left because the war started). The head of the enterprise asks to write a statement of resignation at his own will, since he does not plan to continue the vacation without saving (justifies the fact that he has the right not to continue according to Article 12, Clause 2 of the Law of Ukraine #2136, because the railway is a critical infrastructure object) .
