In August, the draft law will be considered in the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading.
The draft law on the legalization of cryptocurrency contains two main blocks of issues:
legal definition of the status of cryptocurrency and resolution of the issue of its taxation. According to the project, cryptocurrency will not be a means of payment. It is recognized as movable property
Cryptocurrency will be divided into three categories: tokens tied to an asset (such as real estate); tokens tied to money (like USDT); and other virtual assets (Bitcoin, Solana, etc.).
All applicants applying for approval to hold mass events in Kyiv must first obtain permission from the General Staff; organizers whose applications are already being processed are also required to go through this procedure and report the results to the KMVA; information about the new rules must be brought to all performers and responsible structures.
Insurance experience acquired outside Ukraine is taken into account only for determining the right to a pension. It does not affect the amount of the pension (except for certain countries with which relevant agreements have been concluded).
What needs to be done?
Obtain confirmation of official experience in the country where you worked. This can be done through the pension authorities of the relevant state. If it is difficult to apply independently, you can submit a request through the territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Then, to resolve your problem, the PFU will make a request to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, which, in turn, will contact the pension authority of the country where you worked.
Find out if the document needs legalization. Some countries do not require it at all (if there is a corresponding agreement).
If the country is a party to the 1961 Hague Convention, an apostille will be required for legalization. If the country where you worked does not have international treaties on legal assistance with Ukraine, consular legalization will be required.
Provide a supporting document to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Don't forget about a notarized translation into Ukrainian.
