The Ministry of Labor emphasizes that usually a civil law contract is concluded when it comes to the performance of one-off, and not systematic, works. Labor relations do not arise as a result of such contracts.

At the same time, the legislation makes it possible to secure future pension payments for those citizens who work under civil law contracts. Thus, the Law of Ukraine "On pension provision" (clause "a", part 3 of article 56) provides that, in case of payment of insurance contributions, work under civil law agreements will be included in the length of service. And this, in turn, will give the right to a pension.
