A medical opinion on temporary incapacity for work is the basis for creating an electronic sick leave, thanks to which a person receives payments.

Getting an electronic sick leave is easy. For this you need:

  1. In case of deterioration of health, it is necessary to consult a doctor.

  2. The doctor will establish the fact of temporary incapacity for work and form a medical opinion on temporary incapacity for work (MVTN) in the register of medical opinions in the electronic health care system.

  3. Next, the doctor will sign the MVTN with his qualified electronic signature (KEP), after that you will receive an SMS message with the MVTN number.

  4. Data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs are automatically sent to the electronic register of sick leaves, where based on the data available in the register of insured persons and using these data, an e-hospital record will be created. It is important that there is no medical data in the data transferred to the social side.

  5. Next, you will receive an SMS message from the Pension Fund with the sick leave number.

  6. Inform your employer about the period of incapacity by calling or forwarding the sick leave number. The employer in the policyholder's office on the Pension Fund portal will review the sick leave sheet and can pay for it 7 days after its closing date.

Labor Code and other legal acts do not regulate in detail the procedure for announcing and introducing layoffs at the enterprise.

A certain algorithm of the employer's actions is contained in the Letter of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine dated October 23, 2007 No. 257/06/187-07 "Regarding the organization of work during downtime at the enterprise." The Ministry recommends that employers take the following actions:

  • issue an order to announce a layoff (it should specify the period of implementation or the circumstance that will be associated with the termination of the layoff; list the employees to whom it applies; determine the amount of wages that will be paid to employees, as well as the person responsible for notifying of this order to other employees);

  • draw up an act of downtime (record the reasons that led to the suspension of the enterprise's work).

If the layoff will have a 24-hour nature, the order should define the need for the presence or absence of the employee at work.

  • Application for the assignment of state social assistance to low-income families.

  • Declaration of income and property status of persons who have applied for all types of social assistance.

Online:
