• children under 18 years of age;

• children's medical and health care facilities;

• relatives of the first and/or second degree of kinship who temporarily reside in the individual's home;

• internally displaced persons, if their address of actual residence is indicated in the relevant certificate.

If charitable assistance is provided to a specific individual and its amount during the reporting tax year does not exceed the total amount of income limit established on January 1 of such year (in 2025, this amount is UAH 4,240), such amount is not included in the taxable income of the recipient.

The right to rest is guaranteed to every employee, and the procedure for its implementation is determined by vacation schedules. They are mandatory for both the employer and the employees. If the employee refuses to take vacation according to the schedule, the law allows the employer to provide it forcibly - by issuing an order.

No, the state does not compensate for damages caused by telephone scammers if the police cannot find the perpetrators. You can file a complaint with the police, and if the scammers are identified and convicted, they will be obliged to compensate you for the damage caused as part of criminal proceedings.

The Constitution of Ukraine guarantees equal rights and freedoms of citizens. Among other things, this means that all persons should have equal access to work - regardless of age, gender, skin color, religious beliefs, etc. By refusing to hire a person because of his or her age, an employer violates the fundamental guarantees of protection of persons from discrimination, as defined in the Labor Code. If an advertisement for the search for employees contains a requirement regarding age, this is a violation of the Law "On Employment of the Population".

If you have been discriminated against on the basis of age, do not be shy about speaking up. Show your potential employer that you know the law and remind them that they are violating it. Ask them to give you a specific reason for the denial of employment. If you are sure that your age is the reason, try to record this answer. Politely warn your employer that you can sue them for discrimination.

If the employer applied a tax social benefit without the employee's application, it is the employer who is responsible for paying personal income tax.

Close relatives have the right to travel abroad during martial law:

• military personnel who died or went missing during the anti-terrorist operation (ATO). In particular, military personnel who died during direct participation in hostilities, those who were involved in ensuring the conduct of the ATO, and those who were in the areas of the anti-terrorist operation at the time of its conduct;

• military personnel who died or went missing while deterring Russia's armed aggression in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and defending Ukraine during martial law (full-scale invasion);

• participants of the Revolution of Dignity who were posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

Their wife, husband, son, daughter, father, mother, full or half-brother or sister have the right to leave Ukraine.
