A new draft law

solved

⚡️ Clarification regarding the new mobilization bill from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine:

▪️ Mobilization is offered from 25 to 60 years;

▪️ Starting in 2025, basic military training will be introduced at universities;

▪️ Some categories of citizens are exempted from basic military training at universities;

▪️ Instead of conscription, basic military service is introduced for a period of 5 months in peacetime and 3 months in wartime;

▪️ Citizens from the age of 18 can choose the time of basic military service;

▪️ Citizens from the age of 18, regardless of basic military training or service, will receive a deferment until reaching mobilization age;

There is also information that tomorrow the Committee will complete consideration of all amendments to this draft law, as of now, it is 82% ready.

This draft law is of interest to:

▪️ Citizens from the age of 18, regardless of basic military training or service, will receive a deferment until reaching mobilization age;

If it is accepted in this form, does this clause give a deferment for a person under the age of 25 who has passed the military department of reserve officers?

Ukrainians from the age of 18, regardless of basic military training or service, will receive a deferment until they reach the mobilization age, i.e. from 25 years of age. Regarding granting a deferment to a person who graduated from the military department of reserve officers, the draft law does not provide for this. As a general rule, reserve officers are subject to conscription during general mobilization.
