To draw up a donation contract, you need to make a power of attorney for the person who will conclude the donation contract on your behalf in Ukraine. You can issue a power of attorney either at the Consulate of Ukraine in the country of your stay, or at a local notary.

A power of attorney issued by a consular institution does not require additional certifications in Ukraine.

A local notary can certify the signature under the text of the power of attorney, but not the content of the document, if it is written in Ukrainian. This method will require confirmation of the validity of a foreign notary in Ukraine, namely an apostille. If the text of the power of attorney is written in a foreign language, then it must be certified by a local notary and the already signed document translated in Ukraine.

The notary checks all the documents for the car, and also checks whether it is not in one of the databases: unfulfilled credit obligations, under arrest, no restrictions on alienation, seller's authority in the Register of Powers of Attorney

2. Drawing up a sales contract at the service center.

The procedure is the same as for notarization, but you save on the services of a notary. This is the best option from the point of view of "price-quality".

• technical passport, registration card (if the registration certificate is on a plastic basis);

• personal passport;

• notarial confirmation of the consent of the husband/wife to sell the car (if the property was acquired in a joint marriage).

1. Complete the agreement.

2. Carry out an assessment of your vehicle.

3. Pay mandatory re-registration fees.

4. Pay income tax - 5% of the value (only if you sell a car (motorcycle, moped) not for the first time this year).
