Such health problems may of course affect your suitability for military service, but the final decision is made by the Military Medical Service based on a medical examination and a list of illnesses.
Mobilization depends on the severity of the disorder and the conclusion of the Military Medical Service. If the disorder significantly affects the ability to perform military duties, mobilization may be unlawful.
According to the legislation of Ukraine, a deferment is granted to students who:
Study full-time at higher education institutions (HEIs) or vocational schools.
Receive the first or next level of educational degree (bachelor's, master's, doctorate).
Are graduate or doctoral students.
Study at foreign universities (under certain conditions).
To receive a deferment, the student must prepare and submit the following documents to the CCC and the SP at the place of military registration:
Certificate from the Higher Education Institution (EDEBO) confirming student status and form of study.
Passport and identification code (copies and originals for verification).
Military registration documents (extract from Reserve+ or military ID).
