If I was convicted abroad and I am currently in Ukraine, can local courts change the terms of my sentence without the consent of the sentencing country?
I read a news story about a woman in Australia who was sentenced to three life sentences for poisoning her relatives with mushrooms. I wonder if something similar happened in my home, could I accidentally poison someone close to me and could I be held criminally liable for it if it was unintentional?
A deputy of the Russian State Duma was convicted in absentia in Ukraine for supporting the ratification of friendship treaties with the "DPR" and "LPR." Does this mean that other citizens who express support for such actions can be held accountable for encroaching on the territorial integrity of Ukraine?
