In your opinion, can a judge limit a suspect's right to defense by his decision, in particular, prohibit him from communicating with an unspecified group of people? Isn't such a restriction a violation of the suspect's fundamental rights?

I read an article about how the High Council of Justice upheld the disciplinary action against HCJ judge Viktor Maslov, who forbade a suspect from communicating with “everyone in the world.” I’m curious, do you think judges have the right to restrict a suspect’s right to defense in this way? Do you consider this a violation of fundamental human rights?
