I recently learned about the new law on multiple citizenship. Does this mean I can have dual citizenship and still work in the civil service?
If a person received Ukrainian citizenship while holding another citizenship of a country included in the list determined by the Cabinet of Ministers, does he or she need to renounce the other citizenship in order to hold a public office?
If I obtain citizenship of another country, will I be required to do military service in that country if I have already served in Ukraine?
I am interested in whether the provisions of the new law on multiple citizenship will apply to persons who already have dual citizenship but obtained it before this law came into force? That is, will they be able to travel abroad without hindrance?
If I decide to obtain citizenship of another country, will I lose my Ukrainian citizenship? Do I need to notify the state authorities about this?
If I decide to accept the citizenship of another country, will I be able to retain my Ukrainian citizenship under the law on multiple citizenship?
