If a person attacks a diplomatic mission, can they count on diplomatic immunity during a trial?
I am interested in the question of whether Olga Stefanishyna will have diplomatic immunity as the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, appointed by decree of President Zelensky. Can she be held accountable in the United States for any actions?
If the President of Ukraine appointed Oleksiy Havrysh as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Iceland on a part-time basis, does this mean that he automatically acquires diplomatic immunity under Ukrainian law? Does he need to go through any additional procedure?
