How can I apply for child benefits?

Assistance at the birth of a child:

1. You can submit an application online on the Diya web portal - https://diia.gov.ua/services/dopomoga-pri-narodzhenni-ditini

Register or log in to the electronic services office of the Ministry of Social Policy. Fill out the online form for receiving the service and put an electronic signature. The completed application is automatically sent to the social security authorities. No later than the next day after the social security authority receives the application, you will be assigned assistance (if the form is filled out correctly).

1. You can apply offline.

The following documents must be submitted to the social protection body or the Center for the provision of administrative services at the place of residence:

• a statement from one of the parents

• passport or identity document

• identification code

• certificate of residence registration (if you have an ID card)

• child's birth certificate

• personal bank account for social benefits

• to guardians - a court decision to establish guardianship

• documents certifying the birth of a child (in the case of a child born outside of Ukraine)
