The Volunteer Register is a database of volunteers who have been helping defenders and war-affected people since 2014. The register is maintained by the State Tax Service.
To register, you need to submit documents to the State Tax Service at the place of registration: in person or by mail.
List of documents you need to have:
Application for inclusion in the register of volunteers.
A copy of the identification code.
Copy of passport.
Certificate of opening an account to which you collect charitable contributions in form No. 4-RV. You can get it at the bank where you have an account.
If all the documents are filled in correctly, then within one working day the State Tax Service must include you in the register and provide an extract of inclusion.
You can volunteer without registration, it is not necessary. However, if you are collecting funds for aid, you need to register in order not to have problems with the tax office.
