What is needed to sell medical cannabis seeds?

To obtain a license for the production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, a package of documents must be submitted to the State Medical Service. In particular, permission from the National Police to use facilities and premises intended for this activity.

The procedure for the purchase of medical cannabis seeds is established by the Cabinet of Ministers, it must be conditioned and certified, as well as registered in the register for sowing (commercial) quality.

It is also necessary to conduct laboratory tests to determine the content of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in dried hemp straw. Samples are selected with the participation of the National Police in accordance with the procedure established by the Cabinet of Ministers. It is not possible to harvest until the results of the research are received.

A cannabis substance (active pharmaceutical ingredient – API) will be produced from the harvested crop of plants. To register a substance in the register of medicinal products, a set of documents on its effectiveness, safety and quality must be submitted.
