Documents certifying ownership of real estate remain valid in the event of a change in the name of the street on which they are located.

In the case of renaming the street on which the real estate is located, Ukrainian legislation does not provide for the need to make changes to the document on ownership of real estate, in particular, certificates of ownership, certificates of inheritance, sales contracts, donations, etc.

At the same time, if necessary, the owner of the property in respect of which changes have taken place has the right to apply to the state registration body of rights to immovable property with a request for changes. For example, if there is a need to buy, sell or donate real estate.

Therefore, if the owner wishes to sell, gift or bequeath his real estate, the new name will already be indicated in the documents that will be drawn up for the new owner.
