In Ukraine, the exact number of persons from one family who have the right to be mobilized during the war is not clearly defined. There are no restrictions on the mobilization of, for example, two siblings. It turns out that if several men of draft age fall under mobilization at once, they can all be drafted.

But, according to the Law "On Mobilization and Mobilization Training", there are exceptions, who exactly is not subject to mobilization of a person from the same family.

Family members are not called when close relatives of a conscript (husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, or biological (consanguineous, non-consanguineous) brother or sister) died or went missing during the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repulsion and deterrence of armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as during the provision of national security and defense, repulsion and deterrence of armed aggression against Ukraine during martial law.

Also, a man who is raising a minor child or children and his wife is in military service is also not mobilized. If, for example, a woman is already serving in the Armed Forces and the couple has minor children, then the husband is not mobilized. And vice versa: if a man serves, then his wife takes care of minor children and she will not be mobilized.
