What is the family capital of guardianship in Poland?

Family guardian capital (RKO) is assigned to children aged 12 to 35 months. This type of assistance does not depend on the family's income and amounts to a total of up to PLN 12,000 for the second and each subsequent child in the family. RKO can be assigned to a child who is a citizen of Ukraine and arrived from Ukraine to Poland in connection with hostilities after February 24, 2022.

You are entitled to family guardian capital for the second and subsequent children in the family, if the child lives with you and you support him, and all the following conditions are met:

• You are the mother/father of a child from Ukraine,

• You are a citizen of Ukraine or the husband/wife of a citizen of Ukraine,

• You came to Poland from Ukraine in connection with hostilities with a child after February 24, 2022 or lived in Poland until February 24, 2022, but the child for whom you are applying for RKO arrived in Poland from Ukraine in connection in connection with hostilities after February 24, 2022.
