To receive cash assistance through a current bank account, the recipient must personally submit an application to the PFU body at their place of actual residence.

The Pension Fund body may also accept such an application from an authorized bank institution. This is provided for in paragraph 10 of the Procedure for Payment of Pensions and Cash Assistance through Current Bank Accounts, approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1596.

You can also apply for housing assistance to internally displaced persons through a bank account electronically. To do this, you must use the Pension Fund of Ukraine's electronic services web portal and have a qualified electronic signature, which is used to sign the application during online submission.

However, the PFU's electronic services web portal and mobile application are currently under development. This applies, in particular, to the functionality that allows processing applications related to the allocation of housing assistance to internally displaced persons. Therefore, it is not yet possible to submit an application to change payment details for receiving IDP assistance online.

In this regard, the Pension Fund recommends temporarily changing your details only in person. To do this, you need to contact any of the nearest PFU service centers, regardless of your place of registration or actual residence.

There, the application will be accepted and all necessary changes will be made for further assistance.

The amount of bail may also be affected by the financial and family status of the person, the risks of possible hiding of the person or the impact on the conduct of the pre-trial investigation, etc.
