Does the new procurement law carry corruption risks?
I have read that the new draft law on public procurement already contains potential corruption provisions, such as the possibility of artificially inflated prices, insufficient safeguards, a short period for submitting tender proposals, and the possibility of abusing non-competitive procedures through enterprises of persons with disabilities. I am concerned whether the adoption of this law in this form will not create even greater risks of corruption, and whether these concerns will indeed be taken into account before the vote? How can an ordinary citizen influence the process to refine the law and make it fair?
