I found an old grenade at home and want to turn it in to the authorities. Will I be exempted from criminal liability for voluntarily surrendering a weapon if I did not know about it and did not use it before?

I have a hunting rifle at home. How do I know if my children have access to it and something happens, can I be held liable? What should I do to avoid this?

If a police officer used a weapon on a person who was attacking others, is this considered a lawful use of force under the law? I am referring to a situation where a man attacked people, rescuers, and police officers, and was shot during an arrest.
