If an official suspected of embezzlement of budget funds is sentenced to suspended imprisonment, can he again hold the position of mayor?

If I find out that violations were committed during procurement for state needs and millions of hryvnias were wasted, can I, as a citizen, contact law enforcement agencies with a demand to bring the perpetrators to justice?
