The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has begun consideration of the case regarding the compliance with the Constitution of a provision of the Law 'On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025', which is applied when calculating the base amount of a judge's official salary. The Supreme Court filed a petition with the CCU to verify the compliance of the fifth paragraph of part one of Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine 'On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025' with the articles of the Constitution of Ukraine. Is it lawful to establish the subsistence minimum for determining a judge's salary through the Budget Law instead of a special law?

If the subsistence minimum is increased, how will this affect my social security payments? Will they be transferred automatically?

Do you think that freezing the subsistence minimum for calculating the salaries of judges and prosecutors at UAH 2,102 in 2026 is a violation of your constitutional rights to fair pay?

Do I consider the provision of the Law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2024 regarding the establishment of a subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons in the amount of 1,600 hryvnias for determining the official salary of a prosecutor to be discriminatory?

Does this automatically affect the increase in my salary as a civil servant if I work in a prosecutor's office?

Do you believe that replacing the subsistence minimum with a tool size for calculating judges' salaries could pose a threat to judicial independence?

I read the news that the High Anti-Corruption Court considers it unacceptable to continue limiting the size of judicial remuneration at the level of the previous five years (2102 UAH - the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons). Their position is based on the fact that this does not correspond to today's financial realities and poses a threat to the effective functioning of the courts and the High Anti-Corruption Court. Do you think that freezing judicial remuneration at the level of the 2021 subsistence minimum is fair in today's conditions?

Can I, as a pensioner who permanently resides in the zone of unconditional resettlement due to the Chernobyl disaster, count on receiving a monthly supplement to my pension in the amount of the subsistence minimum, if I did not have the official status of a victim of the Chernobyl disaster at the time of my residence in this zone?

Do you consider the Cabinet of Ministers' decision to regulate the amount of social benefits for military personnel to be fair, based on the state's financial capabilities, and not on the subsistence minimum?
