If one of the former spouses wants to keep the joint apartment, and the other agrees to receive monetary compensation, is it necessary to file a lawsuit for the division of property against the one who wants to keep the apartment?

As I understand it, if a foreign court issues a judgment regarding property located in Ukraine, are Ukrainian courts obligated to take that judgment into account? For example, if the judgment concerns the assets of a Russian oligarch, can his ex-wife claim the property in Ukraine?

Can I divide property with my wife without dissolving the marriage?
