From what age is a pension granted to women?

The general conditions for assigning an old-age pension are determined by Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine dated 07.09.2003 No. 1058-IV "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance".

The right to an old-age pension is determined depending on the acquired insurance experience upon reaching the legal age of 60, 63 or 65 years. Every year, the insurance length of service, which gives the right to retire at the age of 60, increases by 12 months and in 2028 will be 35 years.

The right to an old-age pension in 2024 has the following persons:

• 60 years old — with at least 31 years of insurance experience;

• 63 years old — with at least 21 years of insurance experience;

• 65 years old — with 15 to 21 years of insurance experience.
