How to get benefits at the birth of a child?

In order to receive a payment, it is necessary to apply to the social protection body or the Center for the provision of administrative services no later than 12 months after the birth of the child.

The service is provided online and offline.

Online:

1. Register or log in to the electronic services office of the Ministry of Social Policy using the link (https://e-services.msp.gov.ua/). For this you will need an electronic signature.

2. Fill out the online form for receiving the service and sign with an electronic signature.

Offline:

The offline service can be obtained at the social security agencies or at the Centers for the provision of administrative services at the place of residence. For this, you need to provide the following documents:

• a statement from one of the parents;

• passport of one of the parents or other document certifying identity;

• tax number (RNOKPP);

• certificate of residence registration (if you have an ID card);

• child's birth certificate;

• bank account number for social benefits;

• documents certifying the birth of a child (if the child was born outside of Ukraine).

Guardians, in addition to the specified documents, also submit a copy of the court decision on adoption or establishment of guardianship.
