Apartment for sale in Ukraine

solved

Congratulations! The following situation has developed in our family. We want to sell an apartment in Ukraine, which was bought in marriage and registered for my husband. The man is currently in Bulgaria and cannot enter Ukraine. Question: can my husband draw up a power of attorney for me from a local Bulgarian notary so that I come to Ukraine and sell real estate? Is only a power of attorney from a Ukrainian notary required? Thanks for the answer.

You can issue a power of attorney abroad. For this, you need to contact the Embassy of Ukraine or a local notary public. Ukrainian notaries are more satisfied with the owner's application to the embassy, since the power of attorney in this case is drawn up on an official form. The document does not need to be translated and legalized. If you draw up a power of attorney through a local notary, this document will require a translation and an apostille. Before signing the power of attorney, it will not be superfluous to agree on the text of the document with the Ukrainian notary, who will conclude the contract for the sale of real estate.
