The current legislation does not provide for a clear period during which the commander is obliged to review the discharge report and discharge the serviceman. But the Manual of Recordkeeping in the Armed Forces of Ukraine contains a provision that establishes a general 30-day deadline for the execution of documents that do not specify a deadline. The 30-day period begins from the moment the document is registered in the military unit to which it was received.

Therefore, according to the general rule, the dismissal report must be considered by the commander within 30 days from the moment of its registration in the military unit.
