Drawing up a donation contract mainly consists of the following costs:

  1. Real estate appraisal from 1,000 hryvnias (not required in the case of a gift to a close relative);

  2. State customs duty, in the amount of 1% of the value of real estate.

  3. Drafting of the contract and services of a notary (at the discretion of the notary, the price is negotiable; from 4,500 hryvnias).

  4. If you give a gift to an outsider or a distant relative, then additionally 5% and 1.5% military levy on the real estate valuation.

  5. If a non-resident donates to a citizen of Ukraine (or a citizen of Ukraine to a non-resident), then a tax of 18% and a military levy of 1.5% of the estimated amount must be paid.
