If the UBD wants to get a plot of land, it is necessary to apply to the executive authority or local self-government body with a corresponding request. In it, indicate the intended use of the land and its approximate size. It is necessary to add graphic materials of the site.

Next, the executive body has a period of one month to consider the petition, then grants permission or reasoned refusal. If there is no response to the petition within a month, the combatant may appeal to the court.

The military may be denied a plot only if the location of the object does not comply with the requirements of the law.

If the applicant was given consent, then the land management project regarding the allocation of the land plot is developed on the order of citizens by business entities that are executors of land management works in accordance with the law. The parties set deadlines for implementation. The developed project of land management is subject to mandatory approval with the territorial body of the State Land Agency of Ukraine.

Next, you need to register the land plot in the State Land Cadastre, which may take two weeks. In the end, the registrar provides the relevant Extract from the State Land Cadastre.

The approved land management project and the extract must be submitted to the state body - the city, settlement, village council, the main State Geocadastre office in the relevant region, district or regional state administration. It must be approved within 14 days.

The next step is to apply to the Administrative Services Center. There you need to register the land and get an extract from the land cadastre.

Land ownership is fixed only after its registration in the relevant register.

When a combatant submits a petition to the authority, he needs the following documents:

  • graphic materials on which the desired location of the land plot is indicated;

consent of the land user (in case of expropriation of a plot of land used by other persons);

  • documents confirming work experience in agriculture or the availability of education obtained at an agricultural educational institution (if they want to get a plot for farming);

  • a copy of an identity document;

  • a document confirming the right to benefits when obtaining land plots (certificate of the UBD);

  • consent to the collection and processing of personal data.
