How do I get injury payments?

If a soldier is injured while performing a combat mission, he is entitled to several monetary payments.

According to the legislation, to issue a payment to a serviceman, it is necessary to contact the head of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the head of the Regional Staff Military Medical Commission.

To receive help, you will need the following documents:

• Referral or application for a military hospital commission.

• Passport of a citizen of Ukraine and its certified copy.

• A handwritten application for the payment of a one-time cash benefit in connection with an injury or disability.

• A copy of the document testifying to the reasons and circumstances of the injury. This document must prove that the soldier was wounded on the battlefield, and not self-inflicted;

• Certificate of the medical and social expert commission on establishing the percentage of incapacity for work and the decision of the relevant military medical institution regarding the recognition of the injury.

• Certificate of the medical and social expert commission on establishing a disability group.

• If you are a private or non-commissioned officer, you must present a military ID and its certified copy, as well as a certificate of military service. For officers - a certificate or military card of a reserve officer and its copy and extract from the record.

• All available medical documents characterizing your state of health before military service, during military service and after discharge.

• Documents of military medical examination: certificate of illness, certificate of military medical commission, originals and their certified copies.

• Certificate about the circumstances of the injury or its certified copy and/or certified copy of the Act on the accident.

• Certificate of combat participant and its certified copy.
