How to cancel the act record of civil status?

The original act record of civil status is annulled based on a court decision. Annulment of civil status records on the basis of a court decision is carried out without drawing up a conclusion. An application for annulment of the act record of civil status is submitted by the interested person to the relevant body of state registration of acts of civil status at the applicant's place of residence or at the place of storage of the act record of civil status that is subject to annulment. You can also apply to TsNAP with a corresponding application.

Together with the application for annulment of the act record of civil status, the following are submitted:

• a certificate of state registration of the act of civil status, which is subject to cancellation;

• other documents;

• a written explanation regarding the dual state registration of the act record of civil status (in case of annulment of the updated or re-compiled act record of civil status).
