If the commandant of the border service registered your entry during border control, additional registration is not necessary. If this did not happen, the chief commandant of the border service will register your stay on the territory of Poland on the basis of a request to assign a personal PESEL number. In this situation, the request must be submitted within 60 days from the date of entry.
