Got into an accident, and the culprit ran away! What shall I do?

1. Stop. Turn on the hazard warning lights and install the emergency stop sign.

3. Call the police and report the incident.

4. Record the scene of the accident on camera, attract witnesses if possible, try to find out with other participants in the accident the circumstances that led to the accident, and wait for the police to arrive.

The driver who caused the accident and left the scene of the accident will be held administratively liable under Article 122-4 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
