It is necessary to renew the marriage certificate, which was issued by the RAC of the Donetsk region

In accordance with ZU No. 2398-VI and the Rules for amending civil status records, their renewal and annulment is provided for renewal of civil status records. An application for the renewal of a lost act record of civil status according to the established form is submitted to the department of state registration of acts of civil status at the applicant's place of residence upon presentation of a passport or passport document. Citizens of Ukraine who have moved from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine submit an application for renewal of civil status records to the department of state registration of civil status records of their choice. Together with the application for the renewal of the lost legal record of civil status, the following are submitted:

• archival certificate issued by the state archive in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the region, the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol, if the metric books or books of state registration of acts of civil status are transferred to a state archival institution;

• documents (extracts from them) that confirm the data necessary for renewal of the act record of civil status;

• certificates of state registration of acts of civil status (birth, death, marriage, divorce, etc.);

• other documents necessary for considering the application and solving the issue on the merits.

In the absence of documentary confirmation of the fact of registration of the act of civil status, the legislation provides court procedure for the renewal of the act record of civil status.
