In accordance with Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Organization of Labor Relations in Martial Law" dated 15.03.2022 No. 2136-IX in connection with the conduct of hostilities in the areas where the enterprise is located and the existence of a threat to the life and health of the employee he can terminate the employment contract on his own initiative within the period specified in his application.
An internally displaced person has the right to terminate the employment contract unilaterally, that is, to resign at his own will, he can submit an application directly to the manager in any convenient way (by regular or e-mail, using messengers).
If the management does not get in touch, the person submits an application to the employment center in the name of the employer in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons" dated October 20, 2014 No. 1706-VII). In turn, the employment center will notify:

the employer (by any means of communication);

territorial body of PFU;

territorial body of DPS.
The date of termination of the employment contract will be considered the day following the submission of such an application.
