Terms of Use

1. Introduction

UA-LAWYER.com (the "Site") is operated by the rights holder of the Site (the "Site Administration"). These Terms of Use ("Agreement") are a public offer that governs the relationship between the Site Administration and every visitor or registered account holder ("User"). By accessing, browsing, or registering on the Site, the User confirms full and unconditional acceptance of this Agreement. If you do not agree with the Terms, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.

2. Intellectual Property

All content published on the Site—including text, illustrations, photographs, audiovisual works, design elements, trademarks, trade names, and other intellectual property ("Content")—is protected by Ukrainian law and belongs to the Site Administration or its licensors. The Site grants Users a limited, revocable license to view the Content for personal information purposes only.

  • Commercial use, reproduction, distribution, public display, or derivative use of the Content is prohibited unless the Site Administration has provided prior written consent.
  • Quoting materials is permitted only if you provide a clear and active hyperlink to the relevant page on ua-lawyer.com.
  • No part of the Site may be copied or mirrored without explicit permission.

3. Acceptable Use

The Site is intended to improve access to legal information and resources. Users agree to interact respectfully and to comply with Ukrainian legislation.

  • Do not post or distribute illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading information.
  • Do not impersonate other individuals or organizations, including Site representatives.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or technical infrastructure.
  • Do not incite violence, hatred, or actions aimed at changing the constitutional order or state borders of Ukraine.

The Site Administration may remove any materials that violate these rules or applicable law.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

The Site Administration treats user information as confidential and processes personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection". By accepting this Agreement, Users consent to the collection, processing, storage, and use of their personal data solely for the purpose of providing and improving Site services.

  • Only data voluntarily provided through registration or order forms is collected.
  • Reasonable technical and organizational measures are applied to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Personal data is not shared with third parties unless required by applicable law.

Users may contact the Site Administration via email to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their stored personal data.

5. Rights and Obligations

Users must use the Site, its services, and Content responsibly and in accordance with this Agreement and Ukrainian law. In particular, Users agree not to upload knowingly false materials, infringe intellectual property rights, or engage in any other unlawful activity.

The Site Administration will make reasonable efforts to keep the Site available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Administration may suspend access, remove content, or restrict functionality to protect Users, comply with the law, or maintain the integrity of the platform.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site, its Content, and all related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose, except where such disclaimers are restricted by Ukrainian law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site Administration is not liable for direct or indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or any other losses arising from the use or inability to use the Site or its services. The Administration is not responsible for typographical errors, inaccuracies in content, unlawful actions by Users or third parties, or incorrect information provided during registration.

8. Term and Termination

This Agreement becomes effective for each User upon acceptance and remains in force for as long as the User accesses or uses the Site. The Site Administration may suspend or terminate access for violations of the Terms or when required by law, without prejudice to other remedies.

9. Changes to the Terms

The Site Administration may update these Terms of Use periodically. Updated versions will be published on ua-lawyer.com and will take effect 30 days after publication, applying to all existing and new Users. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
