Can a public organization be banned?

I learned that an organization can only be banned by a court if it, for example, infringes on territorial integrity or violates human rights. What does the process of such a court hearing look like for ordinary members of the organization? What will happen to me if I was a simple participant in such an organization that the court declared illegal and banned? Am I subject to any liability in such a case?
