Responsibility for assaulting a military serviceman

I read that in Lviv region, a man assaulted a serviceman who made a remark, and this assailant was served with a notice of suspicion for inflicting grievous bodily harm. I am interested in what kind of responsibility a person faces in such a situation if they attacked a military serviceman, especially considering wartime? Is this considered an aggravating circumstance, and can a greater punishment be imposed for it?
