What will happen to identification codes after the liquidation of ЄДРПОУ

I read that they plan to cease the operation of ЄДРПОУ and transfer all data about legal entities to a new register. I am interested, if I already have an identification code for a legal entity from ЄДРПОУ, will this code remain valid after switching to the new system, or will a new number need to be obtained? And do business owners need to do anything extra to avoid losing their status or data during this change?
