Is Russian work experience counted for pension?

I saw news that the Supreme Court recognized the crediting of work experience acquired in the Russian Federation for pension in Ukraine. If I worked for a certain period in Russia before moving, can I now expect this experience to be taken into account when applying for a Ukrainian pension? What documents are needed for this, and do problems often arise with this?
