Fine for duplicate excise stamps in receipts

I sell alcohol in my store and always buy goods from legal suppliers with all documents. However, sometimes I have to manually enter excise stamp details into the receipt, and mistakes happen – numbers can be repeated in different receipts. Is it true that even if this is just a human factor or a technical error and all goods are legal, I can still be fined as if I sold alcohol without excise tax stamps? If so, is there a way to avoid this liability?
