Bonus payment after resignation

I am currently working under a contract that specifies a bonus for exceeding the plan. If I decide to resign, I am concerned: does my employer have the right to review the grounds for bonus calculation and reduce its amount after my resignation? What if, after resigning, I am not paid the full bonus I earned according to the contract?
