Requirements for professional development of a new lawyer

I just received my lawyer's certificate in August of this year. It's not entirely clear how many hours of professional development I need to complete by the end of the year and how to correctly count them – is it separately by months, plus what are the mandatory ethics hours? And if I don't manage to accumulate these hours, what might be the consequences for me as a beginner lawyer?
