Tax benefits for a Chornobyl liquidator and war veteran
I am a person with the status of a Chornobyl disaster liquidator and a disabled war veteran. I heard that tax benefits can be obtained for such categories. However, if I own non-residential real estate, such as a shed or a garage, does the local council really have to make a separate decision to grant benefits, and without such a decision, must I pay tax on non-residential real estate, even if I have the relevant certificates? I want to understand if I can be fully exempted from this tax, or if everything depends solely on the decisions of my city council.
