I often hear that people very frequently fall victim to fraud when shopping online nowadays. If I am deceived during an online purchase, for example, I paid for an item but did not receive it or received something completely different, what should be done in such a situation from a legal point of view? How should one properly contact the police, and what evidence needs to be provided to increase the chances of solving the case and recovering the money?
