Rights during a civil servant's probationary period

I am currently on probation in a position at a local government body and I want to understand – if they decide to dismiss me due to alleged unsuitability for the position before the end of the probationary period, how should this decision be formalized, and what are my rights of defense? Is it mandatory to give 7 days' notice and provide an opportunity to submit my explanations? What can I do if I consider the decision unfair?
