Do I need to inform the tax office about the sale of real estate?

I plan to sell my apartment and I'm concerned whether I need to independently inform the tax office about this fact, or if this information is automatically transmitted by the relevant state bodies? What will happen if the tax database has not yet updated the data on the new owner? I don't want to have tax problems due to some bureaucratic nuances.

No, an individual is not obliged to inform the controlling authority about the sale or other alienation of residential or non-residential real estate.

The answer is informational and does not replace a full legal consultation. For a detailed analysis of your situation, contact a lawyer directly.
