Should ESV be accrued on holiday compensation after dismissal?

I resigned from my job, but after my dismissal, the employer accrued compensation for my unused annual leave. Please advise whether ESV needs to be paid from this amount, or if ESV is no longer charged on such payments after dismissal? I want to make sure everything is done correctly.
