Prosecutor's liability for bribery

I read that a prosecutor in Chernihiv region was detained for accepting a bribe of $2,500 to close a criminal case. I wonder what kind of responsibility awaits the prosecutor in such a situation? Can he count on any mitigating circumstances, or is this always the maximum responsibility under the law?
